Dj Gecko started dj’ing around 1998, it all started with buying records and from then on it goes a lot further. After a couple of months he met Nephtali and they combined their styles together. In that same period he also threw parties with all Belgian finest dnb producers & dj’s. After several years playing as dj duo, Gecko started to play with Nephtali on jungletrain.net around 2001. Since he is hosting a show on tuesday evenings. After several years playing together with Nepthali , they went seperated ways ,so Gecko asked boycot to play on the radioshows. This mix represents our music taste and mixing style that they do weekly on their jungletrain.net show. They always try to bring you a lot of various styles in drum and bass with the best producers around. This mix features producers like : Spirit, Keaton, Amit, Jubei, Break and Vicious Circle. Their style goes from soft old school jungle till techy hard dnb tunezz spiced up with a rolling mixing style. Hope you all like it and enjoying this mix. Starting as a drum and bass raver, Boycot's first jungletrain shows were in 2004. He played the occasional b2b session with Gecko, who gave him the chance to practice on his decks. After years of collecting records and practicing on his own decks, Boycot became one of the Jungletrain resident dj's. Spicing up the “BBQ Sessions” with Gecko, he blends Liquid Funk, Rollers, Stone cold Techstep and Neurofunk with tearout breaks and the occasional upfront UK stomper. His dedication to drum and bass brought him to several lineups in the country, supporting Belgium's finest as well as talent from abroad. He also produces his own tracks, which are as versatile as his selection - so keep an eye on that!
