The selections within are bookended by tunes both old and new to set the tone, but in the core of this 80 minute journey you'll find a wide spread of 614 sounds: the early productions of Random Movement when he resided in Columbus, loads of unreleased dubplates,... more

ODJ - jungletrain.net promomix january 2016

jungletrain.net is proud to present: ODJ - jungletrain.net promomix january 2016

ODJ first heard Drum & Bass playing in a clothing shop in Austin, TX in 1998, and has been hooked ever since. He picked up mixing with a fervor in 2000, and founded the long-running netcast, Dirtbox Radio, two years later. Dirtbox moved over to jungletrain.net in 2003, and has been calling JT its home ever since.

ODJ is an avid crate-digger and seeker of quality – and sometimes obscure - tunes, with a style-agnostic focus. As such, you will hear him playing anything from early-nineties Jungle to minimal bass-heavy tracks to hard-edged dancefloor jams. This mix comprises some of ODJ’s recent favorites of the liquid bent, bolstered by a handful of high quality... more

jungletrain.net is proud to present Tropmanga - jungletrain.net promomix december 2015

We would like to give the stage to Tropmanga, based in Ghent, Belgium to present the December 2015 promomix!

"Hello,

This mix is not really about the mixing part, but about the tunes I like the most at the moment. I've been playing on jungletrain for a while now, still enjoying myself very much. More importantly, my radio show gives me an outlet to play those tunes I don't usually select when playing out, allowing me to rediscover B-sides of records I liked, which aren't always your typical party Jungle tunes!

I hope you'll enjoy this mix, Jungletrain for the win!" -- Tropmanga

Make sure to catch Tropmanga's Unbalanced Pressure show every odd... more
